However, I can refer you to Alaska teacher placement. I think you should be able to do some research there... A lot of things vary by district, and Bush districts (accessible only by plane/boat--no roads connecting villages) are different than the larger city districts like Anchorage. I would say do some research. I'm sorry I am not much help! Best of luck and enjoy!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01932174596663926483noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-519812324937343006.post-153435170361319582013-09-11T15:30:19.257-07:002013-09-11T15:30:19.257-07:00I just found your blog and my hubby and I are thor...I just found your blog and my hubby and I are thoroughly enjoying it. We are both in school finishing up our teaching degrees and hopefully, you can answer some questions for us. I am working on my master's degree in SPED K-12 and he is an art education major. We wanted to know if there is a demand for SPED teachers in Alaska? What about art teachers? Is there a need for certified teachers to work as substitute teachers in Alaskan bush schools if their spouse is hired as a teacher? Are families allowed to come with the new hires? Is there space available at the school for teacher's children? I am sorry to ask so many questions but we are very interested in teaching in Alaska. Thanks so much!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01875554122801549762noreply@blogger.com
