Cultural days was the highlight of this semester. I LOVED watching my kids sew, make akutaq, play lapp game, bead and make super cute mother's day cards! Here are a few pictures from Cultural days.
First sewing project... Sewing their names on burlap with colored yarn.
Some things are just too tough to do sitting up. :)
Writing messages on our Mother's Day cards.
Squeezing the water out of our fish for akutaq. (Sounds something like uhgooduck)
Second step... Shortening. Then sugar and last berries!
Yum!!! Eskimo ice cream!!
Who needs spoons to eat when you use your hands to mix. :)
Sorting beads for necklaces, bracelets, and rings.
Busy busy busy...
